ComeNorth’s prices range from 170 DKK to 700 DKK per day, depending on the vehicle class and season. See the fleet price overview for the 2026 season.

Our prices are determined by each day started. If you pick up the car after 5PM local time, you do not pay for the remainder of the first day. Likewise, if you return the car before 9AM local time, you do not pay for the remainder of the last day.

Unlimited mileage, free delivery, free extra drivers and, if desired, free child seat as well as a CDW insurance (which limits own liability to DKK 9500) are always included in the price.

CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is mandatory and included in the rental price. It reduces your excess/liability to DKK 9,500.

CDW does not cover:

  • Damage to third parties (other vehicles, buildings, property, etc.)

  • Roadside assistance or towing

  • Tyres and wheels

  • Glass and windscreen damage (stone chips)

  • Damage to interior or accessories

Yes. You can purchase SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) at the rental counter, which reduces your excess/liability to DKK 0.

SCDW covers most damage to the rental vehicle and reduces the excess/liability to zero (DKK 0), in accordance with the rental agreement.

SCDW can be purchased at the counter for DKK 95 per day.

When you make the reservation, the cost of the car rental and any extras you purchase on our website will be reserved on your card. This fee will only be charged after the car rental period. Additionally, a separate deposit of DKK 2500 will be handled at the airport upon pick-up. This deposit allows us to charge for potential extra tunnel trips, a car returned without a full tank, parking fines, damages, and similar expenses, if necessary. The deposit will be promptly refunded upon the completion of the car rental.

While the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), which provides comprehensive coverage and reduces your liability to DKK 9500, is included in the price, additional insurance SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) to keep the excess to a minimum is offered at the airport counter.

An airport fee of DKK 300 will be deducted from the deposit at the final settlement.

That’s it. No hidden costs and no nonsense.

Please note that these fees must be paid directly to us and not at the gas stations.

Alternatively, you can purchase a tunnel pass at the airport.

Examples:

  • 6 days: DKK 800

With the tunnel pass, you get unlimited trips through Vágatunnilin and Norðoyatunnilin, as well as a single one way access through Eysturoyartunnilin (the one with the famous roundabout).

Trips through the tunnels that are not paid for at the airport will be deducted from the deposit.

Our fleet consists exclusively of new models.

Parking in the Faroe Islands is generally free, but time restrictions apply in certain areas. In Tórshavn, allowed parking time depends on the location and can range from 15 minutes to 8 hours.

When parking, you must use the parking disc, placed in the front passenger-side window, and set it to the time you parked. Parking attendants use this to determine how long the car has been parked.

Failure to set the parking disc may result in a parking ticket. A parking ticket costs DKK 200, plus an additional handling fee of DKK 100. Please note that adjusting the time on the parking disc without physically moving the car is not allowed. The disc must reflect the actual time the car was parked. Changing the time without relocating the vehicle may still result in a parking violation.
